Patented direct electrolyte leak test method developed by INFICON

With this unique electrolyte leak detection method, ELT Vmax allows for fast and efficient leak testing of metal-ion batteries. It is used for all cell types and in a wide range of industries, whether for traction batteries in the automotive industry, in communication technology, in consumer electronics, in power tools or in medical technology.

The ELT Vmax reliably detects electrolyte leaks down to the micrometer range - and finds leaks up to 1,000 times smaller than with conventional methods. With direct electrolyte leak testing, metal-ion batteries such as lithium, sodium, and aluminum-ion batteries of all cell formats can be reliably tested.

With the combination of intelligent process control and a powerful mass spectrometer system, ELT Vmax enables faster measurements with very short cycle times. With its modular and compact design, ELT Vmax offers system integrators a space saving design for easy integration into high-speed production systems.

The measuring unit of ELT Vmax is reduced to the essentials and optimized for use in fully automated production lines. Thanks to the multi-chamber connection and in combination with powerful external pumps, it is the perfect basis for high throughputs.
