Job Description

  • Planning, management, implementation and controlling of investment, service and other indirect needs
  • Independent conduction of negotiations with an existing and newly qualified supplier base for required quantities, prices, delivery dates and delivery conditions
  • Concluding, coordinating and monitoring negotiation results through supply-, service- and service contracts as well as recognizing and managing risks and dependencies
  • Budget planning, coordination and implementation of services in areas such as fleet management
  • Independent conduction of supplier meetings and visits
  • Coordination and organization including leading meetings
  • Carrying out and presenting supplier evaluations according to specified criteria
  • Tracking and reviewing agreed supplier targets
  • Technical and commercial support for cross-departmental and cross-company projects
  • Connection of and responsibility for web-based catalog and marketplace solutions in the procurement of goods
  • Implementation and further development of processes in the purchasing network

Qualifications

  • Completed training in a commercial profession such as industrial clerk or similar
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar function
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (ideally SAP/R3) and good MS Office skills
  • Communicative personality with assertiveness and negotiating skills
  • Decisiveness, willingness to take responsibility and team spirit
