HSE Manager (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Development of a new HSE concept at INFICON - planning, implementation, monitoring and optimization of operational processes in all HSE-relevant areas incl. familiarization with the integrated management systems as well as maintenance and further development of the environmental system in accordance with ISO 14001
  • Coordination and monitoring of all safety, health and occupational safety topics, instructions and training as well as cooperation with all process owners with regard to HSE-relevant topics, including targeted and results-oriented cooperation with the members of the occupational safety committee as well as with other working groups and other stakeholders
  • Takeover of the role of the occupational safety specialist, reporting to the CEO
  • Advising management, executives and employees on various topics (e.g. new construction or conversion, acquisition of electrical equipment, PPE, ergonomics in the workplace, etc.)
  • Coordination of existing representatives
  • Regular site inspections and safety inspections
  • Creation / updating of internal operating instructions, work instructions and safety manuals
  • Monitoring the hazardous substance process and the hazardous substance release process
  • Coordination and cooperation with approval and supervisory authorities
  • Introduction of a comprehensive 5S concept

Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering or safety engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Business fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work in a team and assertiveness
