Glass appliance manufacturer (m/f/d)

These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing. They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.
Job Description
- Production of our glass sensors
- Processing of borosilicate glass with a focus on the production of glass-metal compounds
- Cold processing of glass (cutting, grinding, polishing)
- Checking glass sensors for dimensions, shape, volume and position
- Carrying out activities such as adjusting and coating (partly under clean room conditions)
- Recognizing, recording and independently rectifying defects and functional impairments
Qualifications
- Completed training as a glass appliance manufacturer and several years of professional experience
- Experience in glass-to-metal bonding is desirable
- Skills in cold processing, series production and glass coating are advantageous
- Independent and quality-conscious way of working
- Computer skills are an advantage
