Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Receiving Coordinator to join our team in Longmont, Colorado, United States. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments.

  • Coordinate and oversee the receiving process for all incoming shipments
  • Inspect received items for quality and accuracy, comparing them against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Enter receiving data into inventory management systems with precision and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Organize and maintain the receiving area to ensure efficient operations
  • Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and annual inventory audits
  • Prepare and maintain receiving reports and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the receiving area
  • Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule deliveries and resolve issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with a focus on receiving processes
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Additional Information

The expected salary range for this position is between $21-$26.45 per hour.  In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
