Maintain coating manufacturing equipment with logs/schedules/spare parts/etc to eliminate downtime
Coordinate PM schedules with engineering and materials supervisor
Assist in other areas of facilities as required with facilities supervisor
Perform weekly preventive maintenance on vacuum deposition systems following established schedules and intervals
Replace coating components and other critical parts
Disassemble reactor chambers and ensure the external rework and refurbishment process is properly managed and controlled
Inspect and document equipment condition before and after maintenance
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, particularly when handling and installing coating precursors
Follow best practices in vacuum technology and cleanroom procedures
Assist in identifying, responding to, and resolving tool-related emergencies to minimize equipment downtime
Collaborate closely with process engineers, operations, and EHS teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of PM procedures and system reliability
Qualifications
2 years of experience as a maintenance technician preferably in a manufacturing environment
Must have ability to use a variety of mechanical tools and use electronic test equipment.
Must be organized and keep accurate records.
Must have experience with handling hazardous materials and using proper safety protocols (ex: pyrophoric)
Must communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Will be expected to interface effectively with supervision and work in a team based environment.
Must be comfortable using PC's and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
May be required to lift moderately heavy instruments (up to 50 lbs) on a weekly basis and must have a reasonable level of manual dexterity.
Additional Information
The expected salary range for this position is between $25-28 per hour. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
