These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing. They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.
Technical and disciplinary leadership to accounting staff
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
Filing sales tax returns, preparing tax returns and tax estimates for the annual financial statements, and monitoring monthly filings with the authorities
Assisting with monthly reporting in Tagetik and tax audits
Contributing to budgeting as well as cost center and order planning, with a focus on cost category planning and reconciliation with the balance sheet and income statement
Commenting on and evaluating business performance in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), as well as deriving the tax balance sheet from the commercial balance sheet
Further development of accounting and tax systems and processes
Reconciliation of accounts and resolution of open items
Management of service providers for other INFICON locations supported from Cologne
Preparation of reports and analyses
Review, account assignment, and posting of vendor invoices
Qualifications
Completed formal commercial training and additional recognized specialized training
Relevant professional experience
Excellent knowledge of German and English
Excellent knowledge of SAP and MS Office
Structured and independent work style
Flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
