Please note that the position is based in Mariehamn (Åland, Finland) and that strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Knowledge of English is an asset, as INFICON Åland is part of an international group.

We are looking for someone who is eager to work with cutting-edge technology and take on a challenging role involving advanced manufacturing processes. Our products go through numerous complex and proprietary process steps under vacuum and at high temperatures, with production taking place in a cleanroom environment. We are now looking to strengthen our ongoing maintenance operations and accelerate the commissioning of new equipment.

Your Role

As Team Leader for Service & Maintenance, you will lead a team of three. You will be responsible for planning and prioritizing scheduled maintenance and service activities, as well as coordinating with operators and Team Leaders in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team leadership and management
  • Planning and prioritizing maintenance work, including troubleshooting of machinery and facilities
  • Participating in projects to procure and commission new equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
  • Thoroughly documenting all work carried out, as an integral part of the role

Qualifications

  • Vocational degree in electrical engineering, VPT, or equivalent technical education
  • Previous experience in service work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Structured approach to work, meticulous, and comfortable with documentation
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • Problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
  • Practical and solution-oriented
