Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, November 20, 2025
INFICON has officially opened its new Malaysia Campus in Shah Alam, Selangor (Greater Kuala Lumpur area) on November 20, 2025. This strategic expansion further strengthens INFICON’s footprint in Asia and enhances its responsiveness to customers in the region.
The inauguration event welcomed customers, partners, executives from headquarters, and colleagues from across the company. After the opening ceremony, guests had the opportunity to experience the site and its state-of-the-art facility firsthand.
“With our new location in Malaysia, we are strengthening our presence in a fast-growing industrial region,” said Oliver Wyrsch, CEO of INFICON. “This enables us to serve customers in Asia faster and more directly, while further diversifying our global operations.”
The campus brings together product manufacturing, service, customer training, sales, and application support for the local market. Initially, the site will focus on manufacturing service tools for the refrigeration and air-conditioning market while also closely supporting the local semiconductor industry.
Located in the manufacturing hub of Greater Kuala Lumpur, it allows INFICON to shorten delivery times, improve service capabilities, and better align with local supply chains. This supports the company’s strategic goal of bringing production and customer support closer to key Asian markets.
