The Trade Compliance Director will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of trade compliance requirements across INFICON. The role will serve as the primary trade compliance liaison for INFICON's worldwide leadership, and will work closely with INFICON's offices around the world to develop, implement, and monitor strategies to position INFICON for global trade success.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategize with business leaders across all sites to enhance trade compliance while enabling efficient business operations.
Implement standard practices and training programs that align to applicable trade compliance program requirements and regulations.
Inform business leaders of statutory or regulatory changes in trade compliance.
Ensure that site-level activities across INFICON are compliant with policy and regulation.
Provide proactive, solution-oriented operational guidance and internal customer support as necessary.
Proactively identify risks and compliance challenges that may arise and develop and monitor metrics and relevant Key Performance Indicators to monitor the overall health of trade activities.
Address trade compliance questions from the business as they arise.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher
7+ years of relevant experience in export controls (semiconductor-specific experience preferred).
Subject matter expertise in EAR regulations, with experience in Customs Regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control Sanctions, Boycott Requirements, Dual Use and Multilateral Control Regimes
Knowledge of how to perform and review jurisdiction and classification determinations for export purposes.
Able to review and approve contracts and other business transactions from a trade compliance perspective.
Strong leadership skills with a willingness to engage with business stakeholders, create new ideas, and be assertive.
Able to constructively work under pressure when faced with multiple deadlines and workloads; able to make sound and timely business decisions.
Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Reputation for, and absolute commitment to, integrity and professionalism.
Able and willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Additional Information
For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $134,500 – $167,500 per year.In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
