INFICON expands its reach into India, Italy and the Nordic Countries

Bad Ragaz/Switzerland, July 31, 2012. INFICON has opened new sales and service offices in India, Italy and Sweden. Those INFICON business activities, which are focused on meeting the demands of the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) and Automotive industries, have been growing steadily over the past several years. Beyond these established businesses, INFICON will also develop new opportunities in its other key markets from these local offices.

“Having our own sales and service companies in these key areas of the world will enable INFICON to serve our customers more directly. These offices will enable us to participate in very dynamic parts of the world and I’m happy for INFICON to be a part of this exciting development. I’m convinced that being in close proximity to the markets we serve will support our efforts to have the right products and services for our customers,” said Lukas Winkler, INFICON CEO.

The company believes that these three new offices are well-positioned to respond to the growing local requirements for leak detection instruments that facilitate superior quality control and testing in the manufacture of white products and automobiles. In addition, providing local sales and service support will allow new INFICON customers from the company’s other business lines, i.e., Emergency Response & Security, Specific Vacuum Process Industries, and General Vacuum Processes markets to more easily access INFICON products and services.
