INFICON Awarded USD 3 Million Multi-Year Leak Detector Contract

Major U.S. Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturer Chooses UL5000s for Quality Control


SYRACUSE, N.Y. & ZURICH, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 2007--INFICON (SWX Swiss Exchange: IFCN), a leading manufacturer of instrumentation and process control software for the semiconductor and vacuum-coating industries and other industrial applications, has been awarded a contract valued at USD 3 million from a major U.S. semiconductor equipment manufacturer for its UL5000 Helium Leak Detectors. Deliveries are expected to begin this quarter and will continue through 2010.
