职位描述
Senior Application Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Strong and close collaboration with INFICON headquarter (in English) and customers to develop new applications and new feature development, assist new product developments, with a proactive mindset and strong ownership.
2. Responsible for establish, strengthen, and maintain transparent communication and collaboration between INFICON headquarter and INFICON China Team. Monitor related markets (solar, coating, semiconductor, etc.) and competitors in China, align with related teams on technical and marketing updates with a strategic mindset.
3. Lead application employments and pivot experiments for new market, new products, new application, new customers.
4. Set up, test, evaluate, and optimize customer-focused applications both in the INFICON laboratory and at customer production sites.
5. Assist regional internal trainings with support from INFICON HQ.
6. Independent establishment, management and improvement of laboratory set-ups and scientific data analysis.
7. Provide technical support to sales and field application engineers in China. Participate in customer projects and assist sales to provide advanced suitable solutions for the customers, with measurements as well as theoretical calculations.
8. Visit customers to understand their needs and industrial trends. Monitor INFICON product usage and gather users' comments and requirements, and give the feedback on the relevant information to sales.
Requirements：
1. Bachelor degree or higher in Physics or a related field with 5+ years of experience, master degree is preferred. Overseas experience is a plus. International company working experience is a plus.
2. Strong team player with skills in excellent intercultural and interpersonal transparent communication.
3. Clear communication with HQ and engineers (in English) for technology and project alignment. Clear communication with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
4. Demonstrate strong ownership of projects by proactively coordinating task progress and actively identifying opportunities for new project development.
5. Self-motivated, independent, and well-organized professional with strong documentation skills and a proactive working attitude, consistently focused on understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality support.
6. 3-5 year(s) of experience in vacuum technology, laboratory work, R&D, and data analysis. Used to work scientifically and self-organized.
7. Ability to communicate and write fluently in English.
8. Solid experience in vacuum system design, including different pumps and laboratory setup. Familiar with mass spectrometer or gas analysis knowledge is an asset.
9. Strong scientific mindset with hands-on experience in data analysis, such as Excel, Matlab, Labview, Originlab, etc. Programming knowledge is a Plus.
10. Work location: Guangzhou. Can adapt to frequent travel and diverse cultural environments. (Travel to other regions will be arranged depend on customer needs).

8. 拜访客户，了解其需求和行业趋势。监测INFICON产品的使用情况，收集用户反馈和需求，并将相关信息反馈给销售。

1. 物理学或相关领域的本科及以上学位，5年以上工作经验，硕士学位优先。有海外经验者优先。有国际公司工作经验者优先。

7. 能够流利地用英语进行沟通和写作。
8. 在真空系统设计方面有扎实的经验，包括不同类型的泵和实验室设置。熟悉质谱仪或气体分析知识将是一个加分项。
9. 具备强大的科学思维和数据分析实践经验，如使用Excel、Matlab、Labview、Originlab等。具备编程知识将是一个加分项。
10. 工作地点：广州。能够适应频繁出差和多元文化环境。（根据客户需求，可能会安排前往其他地区出差）。
