You are part of a decentralized and international team of SAP specialists that implements customized solutions worldwide and plays a key role in the success of the company.
In your role as Basis Application Manager you will analyze, support and optimize existing processes and applications and plan and coordinate new requirements in the SAP Basis environment.
In addition, in the age of digitalization, you will act as a contact person for automation possibilities in your own area of responsibility and hold the threads of existing and new interfaces and connections together on the SAP side.
Tasks
Planning, coordination and support of SAP Basis related activities such as upgrades, patches, client copies, downtimes etc. of the existing SAP system landscape (ERP, CRM, GTS and BW4HANA) as well as SAP related systems in cooperation with internal and external service providers.
Support, optimization, assistance and further development of existing processes in the SAP BASIS environment
Support of system checks, housekeeping activities and troubleshooting as well as internal IT audit
Central communication and coordination function between internal departments and external service providers
Main responsibility for global user management (ZBV) as well as support for role management and connection of various peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, etc.
Active involvement and participation in the preparation and future implementation of S4HANA
1st level support in own area of responsibility
Qualifications
Completed IT education or comparable education with professional experience
Professional experience in SAP Basis environment of at least 2 years
Strong planning, coordination and communication skills
Knowledge of SAP user management and printer administration desired
Knowledge of servers and network technologies is a plus
Knowledge of agile project management methods is a plus
