INFICON will announce its 2Q02 results during a conference call on Wednesday, July 17, 2002, beginning at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The call will be available via a live audio webcast.

INFICON ANNOUNCES DATE OF SECOND QUARTER 2002 RESULTS

Syracuse, New York/Zurich, Switzerland - July 1, 2002 - INFICON Holding AG (SWX Swiss Exchange and NASDAQ: IFCN), a leading manufacturer of vacuum instrumentation and critical sensor technologies for the semiconductor and related industries, will issue a press release announcing its second quarter results at approximately 7:00 a.m. CET/1:00 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 17, 2002.
